Car servicing by the book.

Car servicing by the book.

Car manufacturers all have a recommended service schedule that’s prescribed in the log books that come with new vehicles. These ‘log book services’ specify things like how often to change engine oil and transmission fluid, to fit new filters and spark plugs and to check or replace brake pads and timing belts. When a car is still relatively new and under the manufacturer’s warranty, keeping up with these log book services is critical to protecting the guarantee. Once a vehicle is out warranty, either because of its age or distance covered, log book servicing is no less important.

While all of this is pretty clear, what’s often not known is that you don’t have to go back to the dealer for your log book services. Your dealer may tell you something else but we can do a log book service during the in-warranty period without automatically putting your new car warranty at risk. Just let us know that your vehicle is still under warranty when you ask about a log book service.

Get us to do your car’s log book service done – regardless of whether it’s still under warranty or not. We’ll get it done quicker and for less. We’ll generally use the manufacturer’s original parts but when we can, we’ll give you the option of using ‘after-market’ components that may cost you less.
